This is it. The Cincinnati Bengals have one last chance to prove they deserve a shot at the postseason. They travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers, who defeated the Bengals in Cincinnati in Week 13 by a score of 44-38.
If the Bengals lose, the season is over for sure. They’ll miss the playoffs, and they will have wasted an MVP season from their quarterback and a possible triple-crown winner on an 8-9 season.
If they win, though, they’re alive, at least until the end of Sunday. They’ll need help. They need the Chiefs, who are resting starters, to defeat the Broncos in Denver, and they’ll need the lowly Jets to upset the Dolphins in New Jersey.
