Bengals turn to new long snapper; Safety spot blitzed with injuries

The Bengals special teams were sent a shock wave a day before Sunday's game against the second-place Ravens in Baltimore (1 p.m.-Cincinnati's Cuhannel 12) when long-snapper Clark Harris (groin) was downgraded to doubtful and backup safety Derron Smith (thigh) was downgraded frm questionable to out.

As expected, the Bengals activated running back Cedric Peerman from injured reserve, but what wasn't expected was signing newly-minted long-snapper Tyler Ott from the practice squad. And in order to make room for him they had to cut defensive tackle DeDhawn Williams, who had yet to be active for a game this season.
