With Tyler Eifert now a Jaguar, Drew Sample and C.J. Uzomah are the most prominent tight ends on the Bengals roster. It is too early to write Sample off, but he didn’t make an impact as a rookie. Uzomah has always filled his role nicely, but he has only had one 30+ catch season in his five-year career.
It is reasonable to speculate that Cincinnati may look to draft a tight end who could turn into a receiving threat. The incoming tight end class is not outstanding, but former LSU Tiger Thaddeus Moss would look real good in the stripes.
