Tight end Drew Sample will stay with the Cincinnati Bengals, the only franchise he’s ever played for, as he agreed to a three-year extension with the team in the opening days of free agency.
The 27-year-old tight end was drafted by the Bengals in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Washington and has played each of his first five years as a pro in the Queen City.
“We have a house here. We live here most of the time. We were able to bring the whole family down to the stadium.
