CLEVELAND –– Heading into Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals’ biggest concern looked like it would be how they’d try to replace the production of wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
As the Bengals lost, 32-13, at First Energy Stadium, it turned out that the Bengals’ issues go much deeper than that.
Against one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL, running back Joe Mixon had another inefficient game. Left tackle Jonah Williams allowed two first half sacks that ended drives, including one to a rookie seventh round pick.
Wide receiver Mike Thomas, filling in for Chase, had a drop on what would have been a first down.
