Another offseason, another former Giants offensive lineman that’s signing with the Bengals.
According to Pro Football Talk, Cincinnati is signing free agent guard John Jerry.
The former starting guard spent 2018 out of football after being cut by the Giants prior to the start of the regular season. He also turns 33 this week, so perhaps this is nothing more than a depth signing that gives more competition on the interior of the offensive line in training camp.
This move comes one year after the Bengals signed disgraced lineman Bobby Hart, who had previously been with the Giants, only to give him one of the most eye-raising contracts of the 2019 offseason.
