The Bengals have signed free agent defensive back Demetrious Cox to the team’s practice squad.
Cox (6-0, 200), a second-year player out of Michigan State, entered the NFL in 2017 as a college free agent signee of Cincinnati. He spent the 2017 preseason with the Bengals before joining the Carolina Panthers. There, he totaled four tackles in four games played. He was most recently on Arizona’s practice squad.
Cox fills an open spot on the Bengals’ practice squad that was created when cornerback C.J. Goodwin was signed to the Dallas Cowboys’ 53-man roster yesterday.
