The Cincinnati Bengals have signed free agents quarterback Brandon Allen and kicker/punter Tristan Vizcaino, the team announced Saturday. These were two moves reportedly in the works in recent days, as the team needed some added insurance at quarterback and both specialist spots.
Allen, who weighs in at 6-2 and 209 pounds, is a fourth-year player who was originally a sixth-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016. He later spent time with the Los Angeles Rams (with Zac Taylor) and Denver Broncos. He has played in three career games (all with Denver in 2019), and completed 39/84 passes for 515 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
