Bengals show interest in free agent TE Jordan Matthews, per report

It’s been nearly two full years since Jordan Matthews caught an NFL pass.

The former second-round pick out of Vanderbilt began his professional career as a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles back in 2014. Seven years later, Matthews is attempting a comeback into the game as a tight end.

Now at the age of 29 and the weight of 235 pounds, Matthews has redone his physique with the hopes of earning another NFL contract. On Sunday, Matthews was one of five tight ends to participate in The CAMP, a football camp ran by HUB Football in San Diego.
