The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms on a three-year deal worth $21 million for linebacker Germaine Pratt, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported on Monday afternoon. Due to NFL league rules, the deal will not be finalized until after 4 p.m. on Wednesday when the new league year begins.

This move comes as a bit of a surprise as all signs pointed to Pratt testing the open market after the season. It seemed as if the Bengals were going to have to make a decision between paying middle linebacker Logan Wilson and Pratt.
