Cincinnati Bengals starting right tackle La'el Collins was not present at practice during the media viewing period. The team later announced the official injury report of the week that Collins was not a participant in practice due to a back injury.
Collins' absence on Wednesday is significant for several reasons. He missed most of training camp with a back injury (it's undisclosed if it's the same injury) and he needs more reps with the rest of Cincinnati's offensive line. He's also coming off a bad performance against the Cowboys where he was credited for giving up two hurries, two quarterback hits and one sack, according to Pro Football Focus.
