The Bengals are waiving wide receiver Jake Kumerow with the hope they'll be able to sign him to their 10-man practice squad.
Kumerow had a good showing in the preseason for the Bengals while hauling in six passes for 65 yards (10.8 avg.). It was not enough to beat out the likes of Mario Alford, Brandon Tate, and Greg Little for roster spots at receiver.
You don't see many 6-5, 208-pound receivers who can run a 4.5 40-time. You also don't see many guys catch 143 passes for 2,447 yards and 33 scores during a two-year span.
