The Bengals are now down to five tight ends on their roster.
Per Tyler Dragon of Cincinnati.com, the Bengals have released tight end Mason Schreck.
Schreck was the team’s seventh-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. During Week 3 of the 2017 preseason, Schreck injured his left knee and spent his rookie year on Injured Reserve. He returned in 2018, playing six games before he re-injured his left knee and finished the year on I.R. He spent the majority of the 2019 season on the team’s practice squad before being elevated to the active roster after Week 11.
