The Cincinnati Bengals have made another move to keep one of their own, this time by re-signing Cam Sample to a one-year deal, according to Tom Pelissero.
This will likely be a very minimal deal for Sample, who was a solid rotational defensive lineman before suffering a torn Achilles during the preseason that cost him the entire 2024 season.
A 2021 fourth-round NFL Draft pick out of Tulane, Sample has appeared in 47 career games (three starts), logging 29 tackles, eight QB hits, 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss, and one pass deflection.
