The Cincinnati Bengals are keeping another one of their own, re-signing BJ Hill to a three-year deal worth $33 million.
This, according to ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter, who adds that the deal has $16 million in guarantees.
Despite being part of what was one of the worst NFL defenses this past season, Hill still showed he can be a quality defensive lineman. The team is also rewarding him for what he’s given them since joining the team in a trade from the New York Giants in 2021 for Billy Price.
Since that trade, Hill has appeared in 64 games (50) regular-season starts for the Bengals.
