The Cincinnati Bengals brought in Zack Moss this offseason to fill the void left by the trading of Joe Mixon.
Moss came from the Indianapolis Colts, where he started eight games a season ago. Moss ended up playing in 14 and totaling a career-best 794 yards.
While Moss was filling the void well and did have 242 yards in eight games, he suffered a neck injury and missed the team’s Week 9 battle with the Las Vegas Raiders.
It isn’t known when the veteran back could return, but according to ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler, Moss is hoping to avoid surgery and is seeing a neck specialist.
