The Cincinnati Bengals are finalizing their 53-man roster, and they’ll soon be working on the practice squad.
Beginning at 12 pm ET on August 28th, teams can begin signing players to their practice squads.
Let’s do a quick refresher on what to know for the 16-man team of players who add depth for practices, participate in scout team work, and provide extra bodies for use in emergencies.
NFL Practice Squad Rules
All 32 NFL teams are permitted to have a 16-man practice squad. Teams participating in the International Player Pathway program can have a 17th player, but the Bengals are not participating in the program this year.
