The Cincinnati Bengals placed long snapper Dan Godsil on the Reserve/Retired list on Wednesday.
Godsil, a second team All-American at Indiana in 2018, spent time with the Bengals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but never played in an NFL game.
Cincinnati signed Godsil to a futures contract at the end of the 2020 season after spending some of the season on the team’s practice squad.
Godsil was unlikely to make the Bengals roster this season after the team re-signed Clark Harris, a 13-year veteran.
