The Bengals may be losing another offensive lineman to retirement before they even make it through the preseason.
During the pregame radio show prior to Bengals vs. Redskins, Dave Lapham revealed that Christian Westerman is considering retirement. Westerman is out for tonight’s game due to personal reasons.
If Westerman were to call it quits, he would join Clint Boling and Kent Perkins as offensive lineman to retire this offseason. Boling was essentially forced to due to blood clots, but Perkins and Westerman are healthy and theoretically have several years left in the tank if they kept playing.
