The most intriguing and important position battles of the Bengals’ season saw the first of four auditions on Thursday night against Chicago.

Anybody looking for insight into who will end up the starting right guard and right tackle when the season opens against Indianapolis can look for answers elsewhere.

Offensive coordinator Bill Lazor fired off a quick, “no,” when asked if anybody asserted themselves in the race to start and offensive line coach Frank Pollack took it a step farther.
