After playing in just 15 snaps in Week 1, Cincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver Tee Higgins saw an uptick in playing time in primetime.
Higgins was in for 60 total plays in the team’s 35-30 Thursday night Week 2 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He registered his first career catch in Week 2, which was an 18-yard reception along the sideline late in the second quarter.
The 21-year-old finished the game with three catches for 35 yards. His increased playing time is attributed to becoming more comfortable in Zac Taylor’s offense.
“Coaches really preached to me, just stay involved, stay engaged in practice, and the time will come,” Higgins said.
