The Cincinnati Bengals suffered yet another devastating blow to their defensive line.
Defensive tackle D.J. Reader’s season is over. Reader sustained a season-ending quadriceps injury in the 27-3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, a source told The Enquirer.
Bengals coach Zac Taylor confirmed news during his Monday press conference.
Reader was injured in the third quarter of Sunday’s game while making a tackle on Ravens running back Gus Edwards. He was on the ground for a few moments before being carted off the field.
Cincinnati’s starting defensive tackle had one tackle and one pass deflection in the defeat.
