A.J. Green was riding around in the locker room on a medical scooter on Monday. The injured wideout had a walking boot on his left foot.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported on Sunday that an MRI revealed that the seven-time Pro Bowl suffered ligament damage to his left ankle. The prognosis is that he’ll be out six to eight weeks. Green is expected to seek a second opinion to avoid surgery.
It's a tough way for Green to begin his ninth year injured, especially coming off a 2018 season marred by right toe injury.
