C.J. Uzomah caught Joe Burrow’s first touchdown pass in Week 2 of last year. However, his time of happiness was short lived. The Cincinnati Bengals starting tight end suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in the very same game against the Cleveland Browns.
Uzomah went through a rigorous rehab while the Bengals played 14 more games in 2020. The Bengals tight end informed The Enquirer in December that his rehab was going “really well.” He was accurate with his self-assessment.
Uzomah is now back on the field and fully healthy from his Achilles injury.
