The Cincinnati Bengals may actually get a deal done for both Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase.
According to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport, the Bengals have made “significant progress” on getting an extension done for both Chase and Higgins, and deals could be finalized in the coming days.
This news comes after the Bengals recently placed the NFL franchise tag on Higgins for a second consecutive year. He was set to make $26.1 million in 2025 prior to getting his new contract done.
The Bengals said re-signing was a big priority ever since the offseason began, but with NFL free agency opening and no deal reached, many wondered if a deal would come or if the team was content with letting Higgins play under the one-year tag again.
