CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals continued to fill out their coaching staff Thursday when they promoted one coach and hired two more.
Robert Livingston, who was tabbed the team's defensive quality control/special teams assistant just one year ago, was reassigned to the role of assistant defensive backs coach, filling a vacancy left by co-defensive backs coach Mark Carrier. Last week, both secondary coaching jobs came open when Carrier left the team and Vance Joseph went to Miami to become the Dolphins' new defensive coordinator.
Livingston, who worked primarily with members of the Bengals' secondary in his role last season, joins Kevin Coyle in coaching the defensive backfield.
