The Bengals added four defensive players in the draft, and kept adding after it concluded.
Per Tom Pelissero, the Bengals reached out to undrafted free agent Kendall Futrell.
More UDFA signings:
Washington CB Myles Bryant to the #Patriots
ECU LB Kendall Futrell to the #Bengals— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) April 25, 2020Futrell is listed as both a linebacker or defensive end, depending on the platform. He’s 6-2, 226 pounds, so he is built more like an outside linebacker. Either way, he’s probably insurance in case Akeem Davis-Gaither or Markus Bailey aren’t completely healthy, since the Bengals were unable to get physicals from them this year.
