CINCINNATI -- Bengals players are very well aware of the talk of an undefeated season building around them, but they contend their focus is on the 2015 Houston Texans and not the 1972 Miami Dolphins.
During their first open locker room period since last Thursday night's dominant 31-10 win over the Browns, Bengals players said Monday that as cliché as it may sound, they want to continue thinking of this season in week-to-week terms. They may be 8-0 for the first time, but the Bengals aren’t ready to be compared to the '72 Dolphins or '07 Patriots, particularly with the '15 Patriots also undefeated and in the middle of their own unblemished run.
