Thirteen months ago, Cincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown made an announcement that surprised some - that head coach Zac Taylor would return for a third season after the team finished 2-14 and 4-11-1 in his first two seasons.
Brown's faith in Taylor paid off - and the next announcement expected about Taylor's future won't come as much of a surprise.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Taylor will sit down with the club after Super Bowl 56 against the Rams and - win or lose - hammer out a lucrative contract extension that could secure his role as the Bengals' head coach for years to come.
