Early last week, Josh Malone was able to break down the first 13 snaps of his NFL career and mine some positives. The sixth-round pick out of the University of Tennessee and Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers coach James Urban were happy with the film from last weekend, with his preparedness and his not being overwhelmed by the Pittsburgh-Cincinnati rivalry.
His first career target, however, was a ball Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said quarterback Andy Dalton shouldn’t have thrown. It was a play, however, that Malone knew was coming his way once they broke the huddle.
