The 2024 Draft was all about untapped potential for the Cincinnati Bengals.
And fifth round selection Josh Newton could have a lot of that.
The 149th pick, a cornerback out of TCU, had an “awesome” 2022 season, according to Pro Football Focus’ Trevor Sikkema.
“He was a fringe first-round, late second-round player for me going into [last year], and I don’t really think that ability disappeared,” Sikkema said.
And now former NFL cornerback Will Blackmon, who won a Super Bowl with the New York Giants in 2012, has named Newton his “steal of the 2024 draft”.
