Bengals escape game vs. Dolphins with few injuries

The Bengals defense launched a huge comeback against the Dolphins, who were up by 17 in the second half. The Bengals ended up winning 27-17. Just as importantly, they remained relatively healthy during the game.

Linebacker Preston Brown left in the first half. He was seen getting his ankle re-taped on the sideline. It seemed to be a potential aggravation of the injury that sidelined him for two games in Weeks 3-4.

Hardy Nickerson Jr. struggled as his replacement. Luckily, this was Vontaze Burfict’s first week back from suspension, so the team wasn’t left without a veteran at the position during Brown’s brief absence.
