The Cincinnati Bengals have elevated quarterback Kevin Hogan from the practice squad to the active roster for tonight’s game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will be the backup to Ryan Finley, who is starting in place of the injured Brandon Allen.
The Bengals also announced that practice squad cornerback Brian Allen was placed on the NFL’s COVID-19 reserve list.
Hogan, a fourth-year player out of Stanford University, was originally a fifth-round draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016. He later spent time with the Cleveland Browns, Washington Football Team and Denver Broncos.
