The Bengals today have elevated DL Kahlil McKenzie from the practice squad to the active roster. This gives the Bengals 54 players on their active roster.
McKenzie (6-3, 314), a second-year player out of Tennessee, was signed onto the Bengals’ practice squad before the regular season began. He was originally a sixth-round draft pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018. He spent the 2019 season on the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad and was waived by the Seahawks this past July.
With Geno Atkins declared out for the third week in a row, McKenzie should be active for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.
