Cincinnati Bengals reserve defensive tackle Josh Tupou won't play this year.
Tupou informed the Bengals that he's opting out of 2020 season because of coronavirus concerns, a source informed The Enquirer. There are multiple players still mulling over whether to play or not, a source said.
All NFL players must decide whether or not to opt out of the 2020 season by Aug. 3.
The fourth-year defensive tackle appeared in all 16 games last season (seven starts). He had a career-high 27 tackles and three tackles for loss in 2019. Tupou has 36 tackles and one forced fumble in 23 career games.
