Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick took 19 children in his hometown of Gadsden, Alabama, on a back-to-school shopping spree - an initiative of his 21 Kids Foundation - giving each kid a $250 allowance to pick out a pair of shoes and clothes and treating the group to lunch.

"I just feel like, there is nothing like having a fresh pair of kicks on your feet," Kirkpatrick said. "That's one of my obsessions. I just felt like that would be something pretty cool, that kids would be able to come in here and pick out any shoe they want.
