Bengals cut Terrelle Pryor

So much for the Terrelle Pryor experiment.

The Bengals announced Thursday that Pryor has been waived after one month with the team. Pryor was signed as OTAs were beginning, but was clearly behind Josh Johnson and AJ McCarron on the depth chart to the point he was barely getting any reps. Not to mention Andy Dalton, who all three were fighting to backup.

Pryor was hoping to salvage his career by reuniting with Hue Jackson. Now the Bengals offensive coordinator, Jackson coached Pryor in Oakland when he was their offensive coordinator and head coach. Jackson praised Pryor several times after Cincinnati signed him, but it appears Pryor wasn't able to do enough to earn a roster spot.
