The Cincinnati Bengals are releasing h-back Ryan Hewitt, according to Paul Dehner.
This isn’t a surprising move, but it is sad to see.
Hewitt has been with the team for the last four seasons working as a fullback, h-back and even a tight end at times. However, Hewitt’s role has diminished over the last two seasons, so much that he rarely saw the field in 2017. He played 11.02 percent of offensive snaps last season.
Hewitt originally joined the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford in 2014.
