CINCINNATI -- Bengals coach Zac Taylor took exception to some of the hits of Joe Burrow during Thursday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens and said he needs to do more to fight for his quarterback.
"They call it like they see it. I respect that," Taylor said of the officials on Friday. "I just got to keep fighting for some of that stuff. You don't want to lose him on a [hit] that's well after the play's over."
Taylor said Burrow isn't one to lobby for penalties during the game. But the coach said he can be more vocal in those situations, both in public and behind the scenes.
