Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Mackensie Alexander has left training camp and returned to Florida to be with his family as authorities search for his missing father.
According to the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office, Alexander's father, Jean Odney Alexandre, went missing Monday. Alexandre, along with another man, went to Okeechobee County to pick palmetto berries. The other man left Okeechobee, leaving Alexandre behind.
Alexander is an Immokalee native. He and his twin brother, Mackenro, grew up in town with their parents, who were agricultural workers, before graduating from Immokalee High School in 2013
Alexandre, 65, was reported missing to the Collier County Sheriff's Office on Monday night.
