There are still more than two months separating us from the 2019 NFL Draft, which means most mock drafts are still not based on much knowledge of what’s going to happen.
The Draft Network’s Kyle Crabbs and Joe Marino host a podcast called Draft Dudes. In their February mock draft, they had the Bengals ending up with arguably the this year’s top quarterback prospect.
Most mock drafts do not project trades, and this mock is no exception. Trades are bound to occur, especially with teams moving up to take a quarterback. With teams like the Cardinals, 49ers, and Jets leading off the draft and no projected trades, it wouldn’t take much for a top quarterback to fall.
