The Bengals’ injury report from Thursday didn’t change much from Wednesday, but there was one positive development in Shawn Williams’ status.
The starting safety is dealing with a concussion that kept him out of practice Wednesday, but he returned for a limited session today. That means there’s a chance he plays Sunday, but even if he doesn’t, Clayton Fejedelem has proven to be a capable starter in his place. Still, you’d like to have a full deck when facing a Chiefs offense that’s arguably the best in football right now.
The rest of the Bengals who were out Wednesday remained out today, including Giovani Bernard (knee/toe), Darqueze Dennard (sternoclavicular), Tyler Kroft (foot), Billy Price (foot) and Nick Vigil (knee).
