You think the Cincinnati Bengals still value Mike Zimmer-coached defensive players?
The fourth free agent signing for the Bengals is another former cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings. This time it’s slot cornerback Mackensie Alexander joining Cincinnati on a one-year deal worth $4 million, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
While Trae Waynes manned the left cornerback spot for the Vikings, Alexander did his work closer to the formation and brings a similar skillset that Darqueze Dennard took with him to the Jacksonville Jaguars. A second-round pick from the 2016 NFL Draft, Alexander gave the Vikings 1,252 snaps from the slot in his four years with the team.
