The Cincinnati Bengals today have moved Samaje Perine back to the active roster from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Perine, a fifth-year player out of Oklahoma, was placed on the COVID list on October 11th following the team’s Week 5 loss to the Green Bay Packers. He ended up missing last week’s game against the Detroit Lions, but now that he’s clear COVID protocol, he should be good to go for Sunday’s matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
To compensate for Perine’s absence, the offense featured rookie running back Chris Evans more and elevated Trayveon Williams off the practice squad.
