The Cincinnati Bengals parted ways with wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell this offseason. Bicknell, who was in his position from 2018-2020, was one of the coaches leftover from the Marvin Lewis era.
Bicknell was one of several coaches that the Bengals didn’t bring back following a 4-11-1 season. Along with replacing their offensive line coach, the Bengals have now moved to replace their wide receivers coach.
This time, it’s an internal candidate that is getting the position, as Troy Walters is being promoted to the position. He was previously the assistant wide receivers coach.
Walters has some of his own playing experience as well.
