The Bengals had a great Thursday night when they added Jonah WIlliams to help a struggling offensive line. They followed that up on Friday night by selecting tight end Drew Sample out of Washington.
Sample is known for his blocking ability. He wasn’t a huge factor in the passing game, but it looks like Cincinnati saw something special in Sample, who only caught 25 passes his senior season.
The second round started with a run on cornerbacks and offensive lineman. We also saw teams far more willing to wheel and deal early on.
