Coming into Sunday’s game in Carolina, Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton had 22 career 300-yard passing games, one shy of quarterback Boomer Esiason for the Bengals’ all-time lead.
In the fourth quarter of the Bengals’ Week 3 game against the Panthers, Dalton surpassed 300 passing yards and entered the Bengals’ record books as the franchise’s quarterback with the most 300+ yard passing games.
Dalton did not have 300+ passing yards in Week 1 or 2 this year, but finally saw that number in Week 3 with Joe Mixon sidelined.
