Former Bengals defensive tackle Andrew Billings won’t be playing this season.
Billings, who signed with the Browns earlier this offseason, has opted out of the 2020 NFL season due to the coronavirus.
Originally selected by the Bengals out of Baylor in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Billings has started 37 of 47 career games with 80 tackles and 3.5 sacks. He missed his entire rookie season due to injury, then had an up-and-down 2017 campaign.
Billings started coming into his own in 2018 when he established himself as the starting nose tackle, and carried that momentum into 2019, finishing with a respectable 69.
