A familiar face turned up at Cincinnati Bengals practice on Thursday.
Offensive tackle Andre Smith has returned for his third stint with the franchise that drafted him nearly a decade ago as the Bengals face mounting attrition on the offensive line.
Smith was released by the Arizona Cardinals earlier this week.
The Bengals have been without two offensive tackles in practice this week due to back injuries. Cordy Glenn, the starter through the first 10 games, was inactive against the Browns Sunday and replacement Jake Fisher left the game early.
Only Cedric Ogbuehi at left tackle and Bobby Hart at right tackle remained to finish in the loss to the Browns.
