Analysis: What we learned from Cincinnati Bengals' loss to Cleveland Browns in final week of regular season

The Cincinnati Bengals’ regular season ended in a 21-16 loss to the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday.

With a postseason spot already secured, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor opted to rest most of his starters.

Franchise quarterback Joe Burrow and defensive tackle D.J. Reader didn’t even make the trip to Cleveland. Only a few starters on offense and defense played against the Browns, including wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, tackle Isaiah Prince and guard Hakeem Adeniji.

On defense, slot cornerback Mike Hilton was the only starter who played in Sunday’s game and that was due to sheer numbers in the cornerback room.
